Welcome to a New Way of Learning Times Tables!

FUNSFun, Unforgettable Numbers and Stories

The FUNS method transforms times tables into an exciting adventure, making multiplication learning enjoyable, natural, and truly unforgettable for young children. Instead of relying on memorization, FUNS weaves times tables into engaging childhood stories, where playful characters and imaginative scenarios bring numbers to life. Through fun-filled adventures, children intuitively grasp multiplication, building a strong foundation in math while enjoying every step of the journey.

How it works

In the FUNS Method, each animal represents a number and teams up with others to explore multiplication. When two animals combine, they create a round badge displaying their result. They are on an exciting quest to collect badges for the grand TT Party!

But there’s more! Each animal also embarks on a solo journey to discover its own power, earning the Mighty Badge—a square-shaped symbol of strength and power² (e.g., 6 × 6 = 36). This blend of teamwork and self-discovery makes learning multiplication fun, visual, and meaningful.

What Makes the FUNS Method Special?

Learning Through Storytelling

We remember stories, not lists—and that’s the secret behind the FUNS Method. Each number comes to life as an animal character with adventures that naturally embed multiplication concepts into long-term memory.

  • Example Adventure:

When asked, “What is 6 × 3?” children recall Sixby the Deer and Thrico the Monkey meeting at Eighteen Berry Tree, connecting the story to the answer: 18!

Relatable Animal Characters

Every character is carefully designed to represent its number visually and behaviorally.

  • For Example:

Sixby the Deer has six elegant antlers, proudly representing his number.

Thrico the Monkey, with a face profile subtly resembling the number 3, loves carrying things in sets of three, adding fun and creativity to every task.

Creative Names That Resonate with Numbers

Each character’s name is thoughtfully designed to reflect its number, helping kids connect the animal to its multiplication adventures. But it doesn’t stop there! Places in the FUNS world also carry names that resonate with multiplication results, making learning even more immersive.

  • For Example:

Fourg the Frog represents 4 with its rhythmic and catchy name.

Fruity-Toot Garden resonates with 42, creating a fun and memorable link to 6 × 7.

 Counting in Groups and Sequences

Rather than focusing solely on memorization, children learn:

  • Group Counting: Characters count together step-by-step, teaching multiplication as repeated addition.

  • Sequential Understanding: Stories highlight how numbers grow in groups, building a strong foundation for mathematical concepts.

 Effortless and Fun Learning

No rote memorization—just engaging stories and exciting adventures.
Lessons stick naturally, just like your favorite childhood tales.
Designed to make learning feel like play, sparking curiosity and joy!

Holistic Educational Benefits

Beyond multiplication, the FUNS Method encourages:

  • Problem-solving.

  • Logical thinking.

  • Creativity.

Children don’t just learn numbers—they develop a love for learning itself.
